Abstract

The Symposium on Diagnosis of Preterm Fetuses, initiated by Professors M. Fraccaro, B. Brambati, G. Simoni from the University of Bavia in Italy and the University of Milan, was held on October 25-27, 1984. 254 scholars from five continents attended the meeting, and most of the international well-known scholars engaged in the use of villi for early prenatal diagnosis in the past ten years attended the meeting. The main contents of the meeting: 1. The method of villus sampling and recent follow-up: At present, most of the sampling methods in various countries have been verified by ultrasonography.
